Established in 2010, Bora’s homestay at Kaziranga National Park is one of the pioneer homestay options near the Kohora Safari Range at Kaziranga. Bora’s Homestay is a right diversion from the National Highway near the SBI ATM at Kohora located prior to reaching the Bon Habi Resort at Kaziranga National Park. Set up in unique home environment, the owners of the Bora’s Homestay felt the need that guests to Kaziranga National Park often wanted to experience the culture of the local people during their visit to Kaziranga and hence they decided to extend the premises of their home to guests. At around a walking distance of 10 minutes from the Kohora Safari range entrance, the Bora’s homestay at Kaziranga National Park can be spotted. The warm and welcoming owners are always present to greet their guests and show them around the homestay facility.
It was in November 2010, that the owners of the Bora’s Homestay decided to add facilities to their existing home and started offering 6 rooms with accomodation facility at the best possible prices to guests. And since then there has been no looking back for the owners. Bora’s homestay today has become exceedingly popular with many tourists to Kaziranga National Park who are looking out for short breaks or long stay options at Kaziranga National Park. The Bora’s Homestay has an inhouse kitchen and serves visitors with delicious locally prepared home style meals which are low on artificial spices and oil. Bora’s homestay at Kaziranga National Park is a homestay experience with a unique atmosphere that has a homey charm and natural ventilation.
