The renowned bird species that are to be found inside the forest reserves of the Tadoba National Park are the Grey Headed Fish Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, peacocks, etc. The place has a history that dates long back and the Gond Kings once ruled over the forests across the place and the vicinity of the Chimura Hills as well. The winter season extends from November to February and the climate of the park ranges from 25 – 30 degree and the place remains green during this time. Visitors to the Tadoba National Park also need to follow a certain set of guidelines as well when it comes to exploring the forest reserves of the park on the jeep rides.
