Day 1 ~ Guwahati – Cherrapunji (5 – 6 Hours)
Arrive at the Guwahati Airport. Upon arrival you will be received by our representative offering you a warm welcome in a traditional Assamese way. Board your comfortable vehicle at the Guwahati Airport. From the Airport drive to Cherrapunji. Along our way to Cherrapunji we will stop to sight the Umiam Lake. The Umiam Lake is the largest artificial water reservoir in North East India – the clear waters of the Lake to leave you spell bound. Continue on your journey to Upper Shillong. At Upper Shillong we will visit the Elephant Falls – a three step cascading popular waterfall at Shillong. After lunch arrive at Cherrapunji. At Cherrapunji, visit the Majestic Nohkalikai Falls (India’s tallest plunge waterfall) and spot the exotic view here. Also visit the Seven Sisters Falls (India’s 4th Tallest Waterfall and the Mawsmai Caves at Cherrapunji. Check in to your Resort/Homestay at Cherrapunji.

Day 2 ~ Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong (Day Trip)
After breakfast enroute to Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh) border. At Dawki at first we visit the border of India and Bangladesh at Dawki. Cross the Indian side of the border to reach no man’s land to pillar 1275. Click your pictures here and sight the border of Bangladesh. Later we go to the Boating site on the Umngot river at Dawki. Enjoy boating on the clear waters of the Umngot River at Dawki. Later visit to Mawlynnong (Asia’s cleanest Village). At Mawlynnong visit the Living Root Bridges, sight the balancing rocks and take a walk along the Cleanest Village of Asia. Experience the rich culture of the Khasi Tribes of Meghalaya at Mawlynnong. Later depart to Shillong for night halt. At Shillong, visit the Madina Masjid (India’s only Glass Mosque). Check into your Hotel/Guest House at Shillong.

Day 3 ~ Shillong – Kaziranga National Park
After Breakfast, we will do local sightseeing at Shillong City. At Shillong we will visit the Ward’s Lake and the Don-Bosco Museum at Shillong. Later depart to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kaziranga National Park. On the way sight the majestic Tea Gardens of Assam. Arrive at Kaziranga National Park.

Day 4 ~ Kaziranga National Park – Kaziranga Orchid Park – Guwahati (Day Trip)
Early morning go for an Elephant Safari ride into the interiors of the Kaziranga National Park at the Bagori Safari range. After Breakfast we will go for a Jeep Safari into the Kaziranga National Park from the Kohora Safari Range at the National Park. Later in the day visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park at Kaziranga National Park. The Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park is the Largest Orchid Park in India. After lunch depart to Guwahati. Arrive at Guwahati for night halt.

Day 5 ~ Kamakhya Temple – Depart
Early morning visit the holy Kamakhya Temple at Guwahati. The revered Temple shrine, the Maa Kamakhya Temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and is among the 51 Shakti Peethas in the Indian Subcontinent famous for its cult of tantric practices. After breakfast, we will visit the Assam State Museum at Guwahati. Later in day you will depart to Guwahati Airport for your onward destination. Trip Ends. Bid Adieu!
