Day 1 ~ Guwahati

Arrive at Guwahati Airport and transfer to Homestay at Guwahati.

Day 2 (April 8^th) ~ Guwahati

Rest for the day and explore local market at Lokhra area in Guwahati.

Day 3 ~ Guwahati and Chandubi (2 Hours)

Early morning depart to Chandubi Area. Explore nearby forests around Chandubi and boat on the Chandubi Lake. Enjoy a day of fishing at Chandubi Lake.

Day 4 ~ Chandubi

Early morning go for a short trek into the forests of Chandubi. This forest has varied species of Flora and Fauna. Rock Pythons, monitor lizards and other species of reptiles are to be found here. Also the endangered primate species of Hoolock Gibbon is also found here. You will get to enjoy traditional fishing on the water of Chandubi Lake.

Day 5 ~ Chandubi and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary (3 – 4 Hours )

After breakfast, depart to the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. Afternoon go for a Jeep Safari into the interiors of the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary.

Day 6 ~ Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary and Cherrapunji (6 – 7 Hours)

Early morning for an Elephant Safari into the interiors of the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. After breakfast travel to Cherrapunji. At Cherrapunji visit the Nohkalikai Falls, the Seven Sister Falls and Mawsmai Caves.

Day 7 ~ Cherrapunji – Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek (7 – 8 Hours)

Early morning embark on trek to Nongriat Village to visit the Jingkieng Nongriat Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Cherrapunji. Spend day at Nongriat village and return by evening to Cherrapunji.

Day 8 ~ Cherrapunji – Guwahati (5 – 6 Hours)

Depart to Guwahati. At Guwahati be a part of the celebrations of Rongali Bihu with family and spend evening watching bihu performances at Guwahati.

Day 9 ~ Guwahati and Nameri National Park (4 – 5 Hours)

After breakfast, enroute to Nameri National Park. Nameri National Park at Sonitpur is one among the best biodiversity hotspots of Assam. Nameri National Park is a haven for herpetologists with the likes of King cobra, cobra, Pit Viper, Russell’s Viper, Banded Krait, Python, Rat Snake, Assam Roof Turtle, Malayan Box Turtle, Keeled Box turtle, Asian Leaf Turtle, Narrow Headed softShell Turtle, Indian soft Shelled Turtle to be spotted here. Arrive at Nameri National Park.

Day 11 ~ Nameri National Park – Kaziranga National Park (3 Hours)

Today after breakfast, we leave Nameri National park to Kaziranga National Park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its population of the Indian One Horned Rhinoceros species. Afternoon we go for a thrilling Jeep Safari into the interiors of the Kaziranga National Park from the Bagori Safari range. Evening free to visit the nearby tea gardens at Kaziranga National Park.

Day 12 ~ Majuli Island

Early morning go for an Elephant Safari into the interiors of the Kaziranga National park from the Bagori Safari range. After breakfast we travel to the Largest River Island in the World of Majuli. On the way visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity park – the Largest Orchid Park in India. Settled amidst the mighty Brahmaputra River of Assam, Majuli Island is the island that is abundant in fish supply. Arrive at Majuli Island. Evening spend time bird watching and interacting with the locals of Majuli Island savoring a glass of rice beer.Explore Majuli Island today by the Brahmaputra and explore nearby forests for varied flora and fauna.
