This initiative of Boat safari falls under the Nagaon Wildlife division of Kaziranga National Park and is present at the Bhomoraguri tourism site. This place offers exclusive river tourism and local employment opportunities to the local people who take you on a boat safari ride on the waters of the Brahmaputra River and this is an excellent opportunity for tourists to sight the endangered Gangetic River Dolphins that are found only in the protected waters of the National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries of Assam. The River Dolphins were earlier abundantly present in the waters of the Brahmaputra River and its tributaries but excessive hunting over the years reduced their numbers to only a few and today they are declared as endangered.
